Fonts and Wording
Choosing the font for your design can be a fun part of the design process, allowing you to inject a little personality into the text as well as the main design features, but we know how, with so many options available, this can also seem overwhelming so here are a few of our Top Text Tips.
- Choose a font that works well with your design – a font full of personality will look out of place when paired with a traditional design.
- We suggest using a maximum of 2 fonts – you could use a clear font for the main text and a more expressive accent font (this could also be in a highlight colour)
- Use the same font/fonts throughout.
- Consider the space available and the size of print your choice of font will allow
- Don’t try and squeeze too much into the space available.
- A fancy script may look fabulous – but will Great Aunt Flo be able to read it?
If you know which font you would like – please ask and we will check if it is in our collection, or if we are able to download it.
